Someone bumped into us in a parking lot and gave us the typical ding in the passenger side corner of the rear bumper.

Wife asked me to see if I could pop it out so I crawled under the back and checked it out... I can pop it out but in pops right back to the ding.

Body shops want $600-$1000 to fix.

When I was under the car it looked pretty simple to remove the rear bumper.

Got me thinking, if I could find a replacement bumper in the same color at a recycling place (junk yard) I could DIY.

I did a search on rear bumper here and didn't find anything.

Has anyone done this and is it as easy as it looks?

It was very easy. I had mine off to add backup sensors. I think some screws along the bottom and top, and the ends pop out.
