I purchased a 2012 Mazda5 standard 6 speed manual several months ago. Around town I was averaging about 23 MPG. I just returned from a trip to explore part of the Lewis and Clark trail. I drove 5427 miles and used 169.9 gals of gas for 31.94 MPG average. I used the cruise control 90% of the time cruising between 63 and 68 with occasional jaunts at 70. Air conditioner was on 80% of the time.
