Default mazda 5 Drivers window and door lock

hi new second hand mazda 5 owner here.
Drivers door window doesn't go up or down auto (second press) but will on manual (first press).
When locking the car the locks appear to all lock but the drivers door is actually still openAnybodyknow is there a quick fix to my problems

Thanks

Hi, don't know about the door lock, but my driver's window was just the same when I bought my car. There's a whole chapter in the book about the electric windows - I think they must have a whole computer dedicated to making them go up and down - and one of the sections is about calibrating the windows after the battery has been disconnected. I followed the instructions for calibrating the driver's window and it has been fine since then.
My book is 200 miles away so I'm afraid I can't give you the relevant instructions, but if you have the book, look it up, if not maybe someone else would be so kind as to reproduce the instructions here.

Dave.

Hi, my front window resets itself on a regular basis, the fix is to close the window then hold the button fully on for 3 seconds, this resets the auto function - how long for is anyones guess.... works every time so far.

I had the same problem, although mine turned out to be a faulty window switch. Replaced under warranty, though - switch went after just 6 months. A mechanic told me about the "hold the button down" thing, but it didn't cure mine.
