Default Mazda 5 Rubber Cargo Mat/Carpet Liner

Just wanted to let you guys know that after having a hard time at finding a good washable rubber cargo mat for the back area of our Mazda 5 my wife and I finally just contacted a company to send us material. This stuff is awesome. We fashioned a pattern and made our own. We have enough material to make probably another 10 of them.. If any of you are interesting in purchasing one from us, let me know. The cost is $38.99 shipped to anywhere in the U.S. (probably just a little more to Canada). We couldn't be happier with the way it turned out for us. (Pics below)
I also can have the pet gate/barrier dropped shipped to your house direct from the manufacturer for $50.00. We had a hard time finding pet gates that were made to fit a smaller car like the 5. Most are made for larger SUV's and Minivans. Anyways.. If your interested you can paypal me with the funds and your address, or if you have any questions at jimshipley@gmail.com
Later,
Jim

For those in UK I have had 3 hatchbag rear covers for previous cars and found them excellent.
Atlast after months of bothering them they have produced one for the 5

How does that compare with the $40 factory one? Also what type of seperator is that (pipes)?

Thanks

The factory one is a soft vinyl cloth. I wanted something more sturdy that my dog could walk on, or I could put a car battery on, or leaky groceries. This is pliable material, but it won't rip or tear and it even has grooves in it so fluids won't run to the sides.
Yes.. the seperator is made from tubing. It fits perfectly and is very easy to install and take out.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

This one looks good - I've e-mailed them to see if the1.6" lip prevents it from "flipping over" if the third row seats are up.

Update 23/4/07

Apparently this is a really sturdy bit of kit - the third row seats will not fold with it in place.

does anyone have the genuine Mazda item (either of them) to know how they work in relation to the third row seats.

Looks good. I eventually settled on the genuine Mazda one - but only becuase it was ridiculously cheap at our dealer when I pooped in to get a touch up paint for my Mazda 2

Having said that, we are almost always in 4 seat mode so it does the job - it fits nicely and is sturdy but completely ignores the fasct that you have another row of seats.
