Hello. I have a Mazda 5 2009, 54000 miles and I have a problem with the brake pedal. The pedal moves a third of the way, before any brakes are applied. The car has had new rear calipres, new rear discs, new rear pads, and the front pads are only 1/3 worn. The fluid has been changed, air bled out of the system, but the problem persists. I have trawled through various posts on this forum, but some mention a faulty vacuum or a faulty master cylinder. If I take into Mazda for a brake diagnostic check, are they lightly or find the problem? I’m concerned splashing out money where I don’t know anything about brakes. Any help would be gratefully received.
