MAZDA 5 (2007) Heat insulation

MAZDA 5 (2007) Heat insulation
Greetings everyone,
Last year during heavy rains in AZ, seems like the heat insulation under the car got chewed up. I need to replace it but am having a hard time finding the right part, I would like to replace it myself as the dealer's estimate make my stomach churn and made my wallet grind its gears.
I am enclosing a few photos of it and also the diagram of what I think is the part. I also would like to know if this is something an amateur like me could do or something that requires an experienced and more than just replacing a part. I suspect it is part #11 Stock Code NE5156442D Floor Pan Heat Shield. Heat shield. Insulator. but as you can see from my photo of my vehicle. It is not secured by anything so it is rattling too. Thank you in advance for your help. PS. Did a search on this but did not find anything, if there is already a thread, please direct me there.

From the lack of response, seems this is not a common incident. If anyone has access to the underside of their Mazda5 compatible with the 2007 model, can you photo that area to help me out. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your reply UYNogging. Yeah..although here in AZ, it could get pretty hot. The problem now since its loose, I will have to find a way to secure whatever is left there to keep it from rattling, then I thought, if I am going to do that might as well replace it.

My wife & I just bought a 2006 Mazda5, and it has the same problem with the heat shielding coming apart. Is there a source to buy new ones?
If you're in a hot climate, my suggestion would be to peel off as much of the metallic layer as you can, and bend some thin sheet aluminum into a similar shape to support the fiberglass-looking yellow foam that's exposed, so that it's not directly subject to splashing water & road debris. This will also help support the insulation so that it doesn't just fall off in bits as you drive & get it wet.
