Just joined the Mazda 5 family. I would like to get a roof rack for our 2010 Mazda 5 and wondered if anyone had input regarding whether to purchase rack custom fitted to the Mazda5 roof fixtures or one of the one-size-fits-all attachments out there? Thanks!

 

Well the custom fit ones are sold by many manufacturers.... though the rack itself is the same as will fit other cars with a different foot pack to mate with the roof rail shape. Pretty much anything which can bolt down to the hard points could be used, and there are several threads on various forums where people have jury rigged their own racks using those points.
