Hi there, just bought a used 2006 Mazda 5 yesterday and got home to realize, the door doesn't lock.

Everything appears to lock, lock handle on the door moves, manually, via lock buttons inside, and by key. All the other doors lock, but the driver side door will still open just fine from outside when "locked".

Any advice, whether this problem has been encountered or just pointing me to instructions to take the door apart would help!

 

Pull the door card off and inspect the door lock actuator & see if everything is connected & operating.
