I can here a creaking noise when I am driving, which we think is my windscreen. Has anyone else had this?

 

Not me.. sounds like the seal is loose or something though...

 

Yeah, I had creakiness during the winter a bit, always when going over significant bumps at slow speeds (like speed bumps or turning with a bump). I can't press on the glass with my hands to cause the noise so it seems only when the whole frame is under stress. I'll see if it happens this coming winter again, but otherwise since spring it's quieted down nicely.

 

I get this creaking/cracking sound from around the base of the windshield in the winter. Goes away once it is warm.

 

Hi Paul,
The noise is a known fault and is coming from the black plastic trim at the outside bottom of the windscreen. There's a Mazda TSB on this somewhere on the forum I think.
