Hi, a couple of weeks ago my CEL came on. The car was running fine, so I kept on my way. The next day I pulled the code with my scanner, and it came back with three P0442 codes. This indicates a minor leak somewhere in the fuel system.

I cleared the codes, and ordered a replacement gas cap. The light subsequently came back on. I haven't noticed a dip in fuel economy, so the engine doesn't appear to be compensating for running lean.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Or any hints on how to investigate further?

Also, this car is a CPO. Would this issue be covered under the powertrain warranty?
