Broken alternator bolts
I need to replace my faulty alternator but I snapped the two long bolts. I am willing to try removing the ends of the bolts from the block but there isn't much room to work in there. Has anyone successfully accomplished this? Advice would be very much appreciated.

Just in case someone experiences this problem in the future, here's how this was solved,,,
I called a few local mobile auto repair companies. The first one said it wasn't a driveway job so he declined. The second one said he would give it a try but offered no guarantee he could get the bolt-ends out. I agreed to pay him even if he failed. He arrived in about 30 minutes. He crawled under the car and welded a washer to the stud, then welded a nut to the washer. After a few tries he managed to get one out. Did the same with the other. Magic. I would never have got them out myself, so it was well worth the $150.
