Is there an extended SRS warranty, or would it fall under bumper to bumper which has expired for me? My airbag light has started flashing two long then two short, then a pause. Then it repeats.

Thanks.

I had a similar issue and was fortunate that it was covered under the srs warranty which goes up to 60,000 miles, check your owners manual for warranty details.

Me again, sorry for all the questions, My airbag light has started flashing! It flashes 4 slow flashes first then a short pause then 2 quick flashes. After a bit of googleing I think it means 'Crash zone sensor fault' Does anyone have any ideas where I might find this, I just wanted to check all connections etc. I have tried the connectors under the seats (it was flashing a different code before) but now has this code flashing.
Thanks everyone!
Hi did you figure out what was causing the crash zone sensor fault?

hi,

wow, that was years ago! I think we’ve had 4 cars since, but, I can remember what I did to fix it!
it was the crash sensor on the front of the car, maybe behind the grill or thereabouts. It had corroded terminals on the actual sensor but I managed to cut down the plastic around the terminals where the plug plugs into it enough to solder the wires directly onto it after cutting the plug off, saved me the expense of buying a new crash sensor, that fixed it, the light went off and never came back on in the time we owned it, I think after soldering them I covered them in silicone sealant to stop the moisture getting in there.
