New guy here, and my automatic transmission started acting up and I scanned a code P2709 shift solenoid F.
So I tried searching for its location online but had no direct results. I found solenoids A,B,C,D and E but not F.
Anyone here had similar problem and found an answer for this?
I have a 2014 Mazda 5, 2.5liter automatic with 143k miles
It’s in the valve body assemble by dropping the pan and filter.
If the transmission has not been serviced at 50k and then repeated at 100k miles you likely have extreme build up on the Valve body and other controllers and areas inside the transmission . So don’t be surprised how bad it looks when you drop the pan. Hopefully u can do a Hail Mary attempt to clean things up by first checking the the and pan magnet.
Thank you!
I purchased the vehicle at 77k miles and changed the trans oil & filter three times now at 143,xxx.
Ill pick up a new valve body gasket, try clean things up and post my results. 🤙
About that reporting a thread/post, I was not familiar navigating around the site and pressed that exclamation box on the bottom right of my post. Im guessing that reported something?
