Default 07 mazda 5 cel

Tried clearing the cel light with my scanner but won't. It will clear with disconnecting the battery. Won't even read the codes any ideas?

Take to Mazda, their testers have far more scope than anything aftermarket.

A good independent mechanic can check it out also.

Yeah I can my hands on the big Mac scanner I'll try that next. Wife's inspection is almost up and ny state laws are rough on emissions

Found blown fuse that was not letting me read the codes
The check engine light is the thermostat. Gonna replace this weekend
