I've since found a solution. The gear plate pops off from left/right using a flathead.

Hey. I've spent many days going through the car manual (couldn't find section) and a lot of youtube videos.

Unfortunately my vehicle variant is too different. I need help figuring out how to take the panels off to get at this radio/dash. The existing one is an ancient Japanese one.





This is the compartment at the bottom.


Variant details:
-Automatic
-Steering wheel on right
-Vents are left of the dash rather than above!

I'm really at a loss.
