xxr rims
Im getting some xxr's 527 rims 18x8.75x20 offset for my mazda 3 and my question is what size tires should i buy to give my car the pocking out look with a little bit of tire but mostly rim, 1/2 to a 1inch away from the fender of the car?

When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter/height of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure. Going outside this will require a re-programmer like from Hypertech.

8.75" width and a +20mm offset?? I'd be surprised if they'd even fit w/o some serious body work.
If you want the car to look like and handle like sh*t, then do this. What you propose doing is dangerous to yourself, your passengers and anyone else on the roads. Considering the OE wheels are 17"x 6.5" wide w/a +52mm offset, those are WAYYYY out of spec, and stretching tires does nothing but make the car handle and stop like crap.

I dodn't think those wide tires will fit either.
You will rub them on the fender and split your tire. Way too much work.
Those wide tires will have absolutely no traction on wet pavement as you will be hydroplaning. I've had wide tires on the rear of my van before!
Wide tires that won't clear fenders and inner suspension aren't worth the hassle.
Stick with maybe 8" if your lucky.

Add to what we've already said, an offset that far out of spec will seriously affect the steer/scrub angle of the front tires. In short, it'll steer like an old go-kart, or riding lawnmower. The car's built-in understeer will go from barely tolerable to ridiculous.
And, pushing the center of the wheel out like that and adding that much extra weight will also greatly reduce wheel bearing and axle/CV life.
