No problem....think of it similar to hydroplaning on water, if your tire is on top of the surface, you have less control than if it is in contact with the hard surface underneath.

my mazda 3 has Good Year eagle F1 all seasons tires on it. these tires are among the newest in technology for preformance tires, and have a carbon re inforced wall for even tighter turns! i love them!

I am also looking for winter tires and wheels for my 3.
I tried tire rack and a few other sites.
Tire rack tells me I need to drop another $270 to have the Tire Pressure Mounting system set for the new tires.
No other site, store or even the dealer are tossing in this charge.
Help!
I usually think tire rack is right on target. So is this necessary and no one else is telling me? Or is it just an add on they are trying to sell me on?

If you don't get it, the worse that happens is you see a light on your dashboard warning of the air pressure in your tires. TPMS is nice to have, but not mandatory.

Seems ok to me. Are they used? How worn out are they.

Can't believe it's been a year since I started this post. Guess it's time to get the Blizzaks out.

Although, middle of October and it's still very warm out. Polar ice caps are melting for sure.
