Is it just me, or does the 2006 Mazda 3 S Manual whine a lot, especially with the air on? No other car that I have ever had has made this much noise with the air on.

Also, the engine is very loud, I have to upshift way before it seems I should be. And, I agree with the other threads that it rattles a lot. I noticed that the bumps have gotten more noticeable the more I drive it and I've only had it 3 weeks! Any thoughts? I don't want to regret my purchase... []

 

i have a 05 3s auto and i am experiancing the same thing deff lound whining noise sometimes ill be crusin down the road with my music pretty loud and mute the music and be like dang thats loud

 

Well, at least it's not me, but still, that's a little weird. The car still has pick up, though, when the air is on.

Are your RPMs always reving high?

 

I don't really notice that with my car. I especially don't think the engine is really quite while accelerating..... at least not until I pass 5k rpms anyway.

 

na my rpm are not usualy running high unless i have the gas pedal floored if your rpms are running high with the ac on like how high are they running? i would prob get it looked at if i were you
