Default what should i upgrade 1st?

hey guys,

Just got my mazda3 S a month ago and i was wondering what i should put on it 1st. i wanted to add a cold air intake and exaust. i dont know much about cars so i can use all the help i can get. i thought the hks hi power exaust sounded amazing. i want a low rumble not a high pitched fart box. not sure exactly what i should get. dont have a lot of money to spend atm. so i was thinking about getting an intake system first since they are a lot cheaper and seem a lot easier to install. please email me your ideas or post here chancebog63@hotmail.com is my email, thanks a lot

id say you have a good start with ca intake and exhaust... if you live in a place where it rains a lot, get a short ram tyhough

I am new to the Mazda forum, but not new to the Subaru world. NA cars respond well to CAI and a Catback exhaust. Personally though the fun factor for these cars significantly goes up with suspension mods.

FWD is known for understeer, save up and get Coilovers. I like the Tein Super street with EDFC, but if you are on a budget the BC BR-type coilover would be a good one that is half the price. front and rear anti-sway bars like the hotchkis.

I would then think about rims like the Advan RS pricey, but a 17x8 with some Falken Axenis would be sweet! Knock offs would be Rota G-force's.

just my thoughts.
