Question UK Mazda 3 headlight adjustment for European mainland driving?

Hi everyone,

I have a UK-registered Mazda 3 and I'm planning to drive on mainland Europe (right-hand traffic). I want to make sure my headlights are properly configured to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers.

Currently my headlights are set up for UK roads (left-hand traffic), so the beam pattern kicks up to the left to illuminate road signs. For European roads, I need this flipped to kick up to the right instead.

My main question is: Can this be done through software settings? I've checked the manual but couldn't find anything about switching headlight patterns for different traffic sides. I'm hoping to avoid the stick-on beam deflectors if there's a proper software solution.

Has anyone successfully done this conversion via software settings on their Mazda 3?

Any experiences or advice would be really helpful.

Thanks!

I doubt it's a software change but even changing bulbs might involve more than just bulbs. Theres reflectors that may come into play.

What i meant there is a setting in the software (looked through everything could not find any settings, maybe hidden) where you could change from UK to Europe. Instead of using stickers on the Light beam.

I know what you meant and that I have no idea. The only conversions I have been involved with were a bulb change on very early cars and full headlight on later. I do know of the stick on covers but never had anything to do with them cannot comment on their effectivness. It would be good if it was a simple matter of software switching.
