I have 10,000 miles on my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires (treadwear 400) and they still look new. I'm hoping for at least 40,000 miles (and trying for 50,000).

Yeah. My Toyo's have a little meat on them. I think I threw a belt in one of them. I recall coming back from Flordia. Coming up to a light. Not breaking hard. Steering wheel shifted to the left. Thought I had a flat. So, I pulled over and checked it out. No flat. Now, in hindsite, I must have overheated the tires going thru the mountins in Virginia. They sound like a small prop airplane. Car feels a little loose as well.

Well. I went out shopping for tires. I was dead set on getting grand touring tires. Ended up getting high performance all season. Decided on getting Bridgestone Potenza G 019 Grid tires. They only have a 440 treadwear rating. Have not driven very much since I got them this morning. We have some light rain outside. I am going to boot around town later on. See how they handle in light rain. As for grip. They do feel like performance. I will know better after I go to work this week and commute. I drive a toll free bumpy highway. (Hence the toll free)

I have the option of trading them in within 30 days if I don't like em. They recived some so/so good scores on the rack.

Take a look.
