Default Tire Tread Wear Pattern

Hi all,

I havent had my tires rotated in a long time and I finally had them done. Now the two rear ones are on the front but the inside first row (closest to the engine) is worn a lot more than the remainder of the time. I looked at my rear times and it seems like them are angled inwards with the left side of the tire angled on the ground more. I believe this is called chamber? I doubt it should be angled this far in as it is causing the uneven wear on the tires. Has anyone else had this experience. The car is newer (2008, 28k miles) never had anything adjusted. OEM tires, its just odd that this would be set this far in from the factory. Any input from anyone? Should I just wait until I get new tires and mention it to the tire place and they can re-adjust it back to factory specs? I have never dealt with this issue before!

The rear camber is off by I do believe -1 degree.
Now with rotations on mine every oil change mine are wearing pretty even all the way across.

So they didn't have a TSB or an offering to set it correctly? Seems like it causes premature tire wear.

Negative camber is one of the reasons a 3 can pull 0.87g on a skidpad. They're all that way. (Siber is right - specification is -1 degree)

You could (If you want to) change out the camber links to make it less negative, but you'll sacrifice handling.

With regular rotation I got 42,000 miles out of my tires.
