I'm looking for the best coil-over kit for the 2006 Mazda 3 hatch... any suggestions? I live in western PA and want to have a kit I can lower for the summer and raise for the winter... I would loathe to get rid of my 3 for a more winter friendly car, I think I would cry
Off subject, but I can truly say you would miss your 3 for about 3 seconds once you took a Subaru WRX in the snow.
Back on topic... I have BC coilovers and love them. Be sure to get rear camber plates with them. It is a little extra but well worth it. You'll start to enjoy the world of tight turning, -neg Camber, etc... Be sure not to lower the car too much as it hurts performance. With several track days behind me, I have found that 13.5" from center of the wheel to the Fender in the rear and 14" in the front seem to give the best performance and still make the car sit nice.
If you truly want the "best" then look into Ohlins.
