Steering wheel keeps getting locked
Hello, I own a 2005 mazda 3.
About 2 weeks ago I installed an audio system on the car, something pretty basic.
Since then, my steering wheel gets locked and I cannot turn the key to start up the car... It happened every single time since then and I'm 100% sure it never happened before the installation.
It takes me about 5-10 minutes every morning to start up the car.
I spoke to the guy who installed the audio system for me, he refuses to take and responsibility for it...
I've been reading online about something called e-cable, that is responsible for the steering wheel lock mechanism. Is there any chance that it got damaged?
Does anybody know where is that cable located so I could check?
If you have any other ideas, suggestions I would love to hear them.
