Hi,

My first post so please be gentle!

I need to remove the steering wheel on my 1993 Mazda 323 hatchback (the one with the pop-up headlights) in order to replce the wiper (and indicator) stalk unit.

My question is - we've got all the way down to the large bolt that seems to hold the wheel on - is there any trick to getting this off or is it just brute force from here on in?!

You can wiggle and pull and it will come off. I have never had any problem coaxing one off.
