Default Starting problem

Hey guys,

I just noticed this minor problem with my car which is a 2011 mazda 3 2.5 S model (manual). My car would sometimes have problems starting after immediately turning it off. I.E. As it's first start-up,I would turn it on and then remembered that I forgot to bring something so I would turn it off and head back to the house. It would struggle once I try to turn it back on as if it doesn't have enough gas. Keep in mind, I would probably drive less than 10 feet. This is a little weird since the tank would be half full or at least 3 bars away from empty. I usually refuel when there's 3 bars left as suggested in the manual. I don't think it's a battery problem since the starter is working fine. It seems more of a fuel problem. Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Don't know how much 3 bars are, but i would re-fuel @ around 1/4 tank as the gas actually helps cool your fuel pump. The emptier your gas tank the more strain on the fuel pump which shortens the life of it.
Maybe try and turn key just to on position for 3 seconds before cranking the engine, as this will help build fuel pressure.
This is a good read: https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...-issues-30801/

3 bars is 1/4 tank, there's 12 bars total. I'll try loading up the fuel pressure. I hope I'm not having a fuel pump problem. Good thing it's still under warranty. I'll let you know how it turns out.
