How many of you skip 4th or 5th gear on gentle acceleration?

Fourth seems a very short gear. I usually just rev 3rd to 2250 rpm and go to 5th. Sometimes do the same if in 4th, e.g. go to 2250 rpm and go to 6th.

The shift point for all gears on level terrain appears to be 1750 rpm. The computer thingie tells you to shift at about that point.

Of course, on country roads if someone is coming from my right, I'll take off in 1st, shift to 2nd and run it up to about 40 mph and go directly to 6th.

I occasionally skip while upshifting, that said, I almost always skip gears when downshifting (say 6-4-2-1).
