Default Ruff Idle

So I was driving to work today, about 50 miles or so and when I came to a stop my car seemed to drop in RPMs and then start to idle really ruff. Anyone have a clue why this happens and how to fix it? By the way it’s a 07 mazda 3 it a semi auto transmission.

When you come to a stop, your car should idle at approximately 700 to 900 rpm. Does the engine seem as though it'll stall/die at that point?

First of all, what type of fuel are you running, how many miles do you have, and what is your average driving style (hard, gentle, spirited??)?

Also, what's your engine size (2.0L or 2.3)?

Well its kind of odd cause when I come to a stop it seems like its gonna die, you know that ruff idle you get before your car stalls? and yeah its idle is between 700 to 900.I have about 27k on it and its the 2.0. As for my driven style well this only happens on my way to work which is a straight 54 mile road so I keep it about 75 to 80mph. and as for gas I get premium cause my car seems to get better MPG when I do. Any help would be great. Thanks
