Default Rear Bumper steps for Hatchback??

I'm worried about scratching the top of the rear bumper when loading and/or unloading items out of the hatch area.Has anyone installed these rear bumper steps I found at www.trussvillemazda.com.

[font=californainfb] Sure! Oneof the most common and cheapest mods for the hb. That's according to my dealer's parts manager.

I requested them from my dealer while negotiating, and they told me that they go ahead and install them on every hatchback as it was so frequently requested. They definitely help a good deal, but there are still times I wish I just had a 3M type clear cover over the back bumper instead of the black plastic.

Here's mine.
