Forgot to say that you don't need any special tools to do this, justfind the allen screw. Thanks

I changed the rear pads on my 2004 Mazda3 2.0 and had no problem. You do have to turn the piston and I used needle-nose and a small flat-head scewdriver. It took some time, just over an hour for the first time but not too bad. I too heard theres a universal tool but did without.

What is the screwdriver for? I have an 05 3s which has 06 rear pads on it (found out the hard way when I tried to install the 05 pads). I have no allen screw. The housing is solid. There is a bleeder valve. Ive turned and turned the piston...it isnt "screwing in" as everyone describes. HELP!?!
