Default Quick question about the driver's side seatbelt

In my wife's 2005 Mazda 3 the seatbelt wont retract..I was just wondering if there was any type of recall for the seatbelt before I took it somewhere to get it fixed. Thanks!

Hi Jon
No, no recall, and as far as I know no TSB either. It sounds like an isolated incident to me.
You might remove the B pillar trim and see if anything is obviously blocking or restricting it though?
If that fails there are now plenty of early 3's in local junkyards and seatbelts should be plentiful... and relatively cheap as well.

Ok thanks for the reply. Would you happen to know what other cars I could look at that might have a belt that would fit? Just incase they dont have any 05 Mazda 3's? Maybe another make that would still fit in her Mazda 3?
