Default Question about my Mazda 3

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and this is my first post..
Anyhow, I have a 2005 Mazda3 hatchback and have recently been having some issues with it...
I have 185 000km on it and haven't had a problem with it at all until recently.
I have always done regular maintenance to it (oil changes, filters, transmission fluids etc.) but nothing major.
Anyways, the issue I'm having is when I am driving and come to a stop at say a red light or stop sign. Firstly, when idling, it seems to be revving at lower RPM's then normal. Secondly, when I do accelerate it is almost as if the car has lost power, and takes a few seconds to actually begin accelerating. At times it feels like it may stall.

Does anyone know what the issue might be here? I have not done a tune up on it.

Thanks for any help!

i would first check your air filter. Second check the, mass flow sensor is clean. Check youtube videos on how to clean this. I would then suspect the fuel filter. that's a start, good luck.

Thank you for your response.
I suspected a fuel filter issue too and I tried fuel injector cleaner and filled up with a premium fuel and so far it seems to be doing the trick.
