Default RE: question

this is what i have and my car is pretty dam quick now and surprise a lot of other drivers with it....
Thunder header
corksport exhaust
monstaz advance timing
corksport motor mounts insert (getting them)
TWM SS
Buddy club condensor kit
not much but i did a lot to an 08 i

Kept up with g35's, 350z's, old bimmers and a few other cars...my scangauge told me 201hp last time which i think is bull but it makes me happy so its cool
I beat loads of civics, mustangs (6cyl), lancer 1.8L, beat an infinity q45 and that's when i only had an intake....that 148 may seem little but I think its good enough to have fun with.
corksport inserts don't add hp niether does the short shifter but it does feel a lot better driving and i guess in result of that you drive better.

I think the only way to even get close to 200hp is to put turbo..... even with all the add on 2.0Mazda08 has hes only pushing maybe 170hp. at the wheels its more like 160hp. but these cars are fun to drive and there are many addons not as much as the honda but we are getting help from MazdaSpeed. I dont no if its a good idea to mess with the timing..

You might be able to get an extra 20 hp by installing aftermarket headers, intake, & exhaust. Any more you will need to install a turbo or super charger. Keep in mind that the latter will involve upgrading the rest of the car (i.e. pistons, rings, tranny,...etc.). IMO you may have been better to have purchased a Speed3.
