1) i love it. enough power to keep me happy. very nice interior, and nice exterior as well.
2) ive had mine for 1 year now, and not a single problem with it.
3) get the mazda3. or at least test drive it, and go from there.
i bought a mazda3 cuz of the 150 hp, compared to the ~130 hp on the civics. plus, its quite affordable too.
4) in my opinion, mazda is an amazing company. sure, they're owed/runned by ford now, but the mazda3 still comes from japan.
also, i love the fact that mazda uses the rotary engines, and the miller cycle engines. the rotary engine is purely amazing, because of the small displacement, but huge horsepower output.
5) i drive a mazda3 sedan. why? it was cheaper because the hatch is the GT model, which isa few thousand dollars more.
