Default Our car hit the port of Baltimore today!

Our dealership just contacted us and told us our new Mazda3 s Grand Touring 5-Door (with three pedals under the dash) is finally on U.S. soil! It should be at the dealership here in New Hampshire within 12 days. Looking forward to a little more Zoom-Zoom.

Did you get it yet? What options did you add? Been falling in love with my S GT for a month now.
I'm a little worried I overpaid. I'm a **** negotiator. So that said, I'm really sorry for the prying question: how much did you pay?

Just got a notification today the car is in and prepped. We'll probably pick it up either tomorrow or Saturday.

Regarding the price; I don't remember the exact price, but our local dealership is one of those "Upfront Pricing" dealships (i.e. there is no negotiating). Looking at their web site, a similar car to ours has an MSRP of $26,380, the "Upfront Price" is $24,621 yielding a savings of $1,759.

Sweet. Congrats, you're going to love it.
There weren't a lot of options (interior color, appearance package, etc.) but did you throw any of those on?

The car is as follows:
  • 2016 Mazda3 s Grand Touring
  • 6-Speed Manual transmission
  • Meteor Gray Mica
  • Black perforated leather interior with red stitching

I suspect once we've taken delivery of the car we'll probably buy front floor mats and a cargo mat; beyond that, not much will be changed.

Regarding the Appearance Package; the car we test-drove was so equipped and given the amount of snow we get around here, we decided to take a pass. I figure the front bumper and side skirt components wouldn't last even the first difficult winter.

The steering wheel is fitted to the wrong side of the car.
