hey ladies and gents,

i'm new to this forum and very excited to get your guys input.... i've been saving all my money ever since i got here to the states.... i just got a killer deal on a 09 mazda 3 with only 219,XXX miles on it for 9k... i personally thought it was a steal...only prob im havin is third gear grinds...what would that be? Im a car newb so i need as much help as possible.

also, im thinking bout going to the grocery store for some bags...im tryin to live my life low... look forward to hearin from you

Honestly, if you paid $9,000 for an '09 with 219,000 MILES on it, you got screwed... BAD. The MAX that car is worth is probably $6,000, without transmission problems.

I'm guessing you're from the UK... here's a quick translation: 219,000 MILES = 352,000 kilometers.
