I have the same issue on my 2014 mazda 3 ( key fob won't ppen trunk ) but didn't find yellow switch was that on all options 4 door i?

Trunk release lever not working.

2009 Mazda 3i...pulled trunk opening lever inside car, but nothing would happen. The yellow button trick worked perfectly. . Thought it was going to involve a bunch of crawling around under the car. Thank you!
