FIRST I need to apologize for the terrible pictures, wow. Black car and low light in the garage
Onward...
Here is an area that even I have neglected and it was time do some maintenance. In the first picture is what is left of the original door mechanism grease. That tannish glob. So I cleaned it completely and using a Q-tip treated the contact area of the linkage. It easy to do and let me tell you the door work noticeably smoother. I also treat the linkage in each door and also the trunk latch. All areas needed attention.
Wait until you wash it. You'll have a smear under the handle every time. Been there done that with Syl-Glide.
You oughta wipe most of it off. You'll have it after a rain too. Less is better.

NEW as in for this Product availability as of only a few days ago) from Cork Sport and VersaTune for 2.5 Skyactiv N/A
I will now haveTOTAL Tuning capabilities of my MAZDA's ECU !!!!
Talk about waking up the 2.5 NA.
On top of my personal engine enhancements that made me pretty equal to the Turbocharged version of newer 2.5's the provided tunes made a notable power difference. If I use sport mode and nail the throttle from a standing stop the tire will completely loose traction and haze. I was laughing my **** off. I actually had to apply drag racing technique to prevent loss of traction to get a good 0-60 mph time. Og and I remove all the limiters. So maybe I can find a good stretch and see if I can now actually bury the speedometer needle? All in all this was a great investment and I have only started to have fun with what I will be able to do with my ECU.
Was there any noticable difference? I've been thinking about this alternator brand for a few months now, I'm not sure if I should take the plunge or not.

The voltage and amps remain the same as the stock Generator/Alternator. Maybe less voltage fluctuation when using more accessories like wiper, or combination of any of them? But when I use lots of volume and the sub-woofer amp is working the volts are there instantly to support the amps that feed the power to the amplifiers and the bass is notably harder and sustained. As for any extra parasitic drain I did a dyno run and compared my base line and other DYNO runs and it did not tax the engine in anyway during normal engine running. Now what I have not done was to look at the coil output and raise time if they were reduced in in anyway which would be an added bonus, but likely not? If I go with my upgraded coils that the yes the new Generator/Alternator will be a bonus to support them.
It was time consuming to install.... I choose to remove the intake manifold rather the factory recommend way to change it out. You will be looking at a good afternoon install time with common tools. I choose the intake method so I could do a completely cleaning of the inside of the intake and a little in the intake runner of the head.

Good to know, I was hoping it would help with the draw from my amp, the stock Alt doesn't quite cut it.
