Driver’s window has suddenly stopped working while I was driving and put the window down, it went all the way down and didn’t go up anymore. I opened the door cover and tried to check the window motor but it turned out the switch allows me to put the info down but not up. Have bought a new window motor and replaced it and I can see that there is an electric pulse reaches the motor when I press the switch down but nothing is happening when pulling it up.
is there anything I need to do? Reset something? If the old motor broken then why the new motor is behaving the same?

 

How many wires go to the motor?

 

Worked exactly as described and fixed all 3 windows in under a minute. Awesome THANKS
