Default Mazda 3I drag-race

I have an 06 Mazda 3i, with the 2.0cyl engine. The car is still stock, but i have a couple things planned for later. Has anyone taken there car to a local track and dragged it, just to see what it can do. I am thinking about doing it at firebird raceway here in Az, and i was just wanted to get everybodys thoughts and times if anyone has any. After i do it i will post the times here just to let people know how it performs in the real world, not at the factory.

In some areas it is difficult to find a drag strip to test a car for speed. Glad to see your question mentioned a drag strip and not on the street. But I think if you asked how many raced on the street you might get a few replies.

I have not really raced on the street or the freeway, no one out here really wants to race, besides its not a good way to get 1/4 miles times. I did see someone on cardomain.com who listed a time of 15.9@89mph, that is not to good, I could do better I think.
