A couple of the plastic plugs that cover the roof rack mounting points are missing on my 2010 Mazda 3. I use a Thule rack which I take off in the fall, but I KNOW I put those plugs back last October. Either taking them off and putting them back on made them loose, or someone stole them. In any event, I need some. Besides the dealership which is sort of hard to get to, does anyone know of an online source?

 

You could try Online Mazda Parts , but those little plastic wafers cost 5 buck apiece (I just bought 4 from my local Mazda dealer), and the online stores will charge you a hefty minimum for shipping - all for a part worth .02 cents

 

Sheesh! Is there any real danger in just leaving those holes open? Covering them with tape when the rack is off?
