hi all i have a 53 plate mazda 3 sport 2.0 and the gearbox has started to whine in second gear i investigated and for that there was very little oil in the gearbox no visable leaks so i can only assume that when mazda changed my cv joint a few months ago they didnt top the oil back up. but basically im struggling to find a 5 speed gear box for a reasonable price but i have found a few from mazda 6 2.0 petrol and was wondering wether there the same box????

also my car has started to leave the airbag warning light on once some one has sat in the passanger seat so i believe it may be linked to that all the connections etc look to be ok. what diagnostis are available for these that are reasonably priced as i would rather buy one than pay for mazda to clear the faults.

hoping that some of you will be able to shed some light on my couple of issues and then i can start goin about fixing it lol
