Default Mazda 3 2019. can't unlock/lock doors. Can't start and steering wheel locked.

Hi,

I'm having a number of problems trying to get my Mazda 3 2019 touring automatic to start.

Firstly, I can't unlock the car using the key fobs or by touching the door handles. The car beeps like it normally would when unlocking/locking, but nothing actually unlocks; The boot can't even be opened standing next to it. I replaced the key fob batteries with new ones but the problem still persists and the fobs aren't in sleep mode either.
Secondly, once inside the car when i press the key unlock, the push start button and overhead buttons/lights illuminate like they normally would but it cannot be started. When i depress the brake and press start, the push button flashes orange/amber but the car doesn't start. When I try to turn on just the ignition the push button start flashes green which I believe means the steering wheel is still locked but i cannot unlock the steering while by pushing the start button and turning left and right (As the manual states). Something has to be wrong with the car not fully recognising the key fobs or the starter right? I don't know what part is malfunctioning. I'm trying to diagnose the problems before i call a mobile mechanic as it can't be driving to the dealer or anything. Does anyone have some insight into this?

My 12v car battery is 5 months old and charged but I lack the tool to load test it.
I checked all the mini fuses in the engine bay and cabin. I didn't check the little black boxes in the engine bay fuse box as i don't know what they are and the fuse box diagram doesn't tell me.
While trying all these things to start it, no warnings or lights pop up on the instrument cluster apart from the little red light from pressing lock/unlock on the key fob.

Have you tried touching the key fob on the starter button in the car. I think there is an RFID chip in the key fob that allows you to start the car if the key fob is not being recognised. I just touch the Mazda logo of the key fob onto the starter button.
There is also a physical key inside the fob that you can take out and insert into a hidden slot in the car. I can't remember where that is as I haven't had to use it, but it is shown in the user manual as are the instructions about holding the key fob agaianst the starter button.
