Default Mazda 3 2010 - No Heat

Recently I noticed coolant leaking from the right side of the engine (if facing the front of the car). I replaced the water outlet which was damaged and replaced the coolant and seem to have fixed the leaking issue. However, now I seem to not have any heat in my car. Any ideas as to what else I might need to look for? The car has around 266k miles not really looking to spend more than a couple hundred on parts.

Welcome to the forum.
What was to condition of the coolant?

Side note I lived in SC for 12 years off one of the circle streets near Neary Logoon park

I flushed all the old coolant when I replaced the water outlet.

What did the fluid color look like? In other words, was it clean in color or discolored?
If the coolant was not service at least at the 100k mark and then no more than 60k repeated service to your current miles so about 4 times total in your Mazda's life?, If not then you may have a dirty cooling system then needs a complete chemical flushing. You also should verify that the heater control is working correctly. Then check that both heater hoses are hot to touch when the engine gets to operating temperature and the heater controls set at max heat settings.
