Mazda 3 2009 mk2 problem with DPF and Eolys
Hello and thanks !
I am going to try to explain my problem with this car in a clear way, although I am not a native speaker of English and I hope it is well understood.
I bought a Mazda 3 from the year 2009 mk2 1.6 CRTD of 109cv in August 2022.
This vehicle has not given me any apparent failure, until I observed that the electric fans turned on regularly.
I travel from my house to my work 15km one way and 15km back. On weekends, I take the opportunity -by recommendation-, to go out on the highway at 3000rpm to clean the DPF of soot.
Ok, okay, up to that point. I observed in Forscan that sometimes when the filter clogs an error 'P2458' appears presently, with no lamp on. When the DPF pressure drops, it stays stored in the computer.
Error P2458 pops up every time you try to regenerate, even if it's not present and the pressure is good (right now it's 0.2kPa at idle).
I also have other faults: C0020 and U0415, abs. Something interesting about this car, in the fuse box (https://fuse-box.info/mazda/mazda-3-bl-2010-2013-fuses) the 'BTN1' fuse in my car is 40A, however according to the official diagram it should be 50A.
The ABS fuses should be 7.5A and 40A, but they are 10A and 50A. I checked the entire fuse box and that's the weird thing I saw.
I monitored the FACM module, only saw a P2409 (present) error, removed it and no more. I have opened and closed the fuel cap several times, according to Forscan this works fine. Open and close.
The Eolys additive tank is 100.01% full, but the 'ADD_PUMP' value never works, I have tried to run the fill, purge service, but it still does not work.
So with these glitches, what could it be?
Summary: Error P2458 appears whenever you try to regenerate, the car regenerates at 50-100km, I have not noticed a loss of power, the car runs fine.
The FACM shows no errors, but the eolys tank does not inject anything.
