Default Mazda 3 (2004; 75000kms) clutch problem

Sorry if this has been posted before. Yesterday my clutch pedal suddenly become harder to step on, and more difficult to engage it. Later on I also notice that on 3-rd and 4-th gear when I apply more gas, the clutch is spinning.
My question is what's wrong? Is the clutch gone, or there is something wrong with the pump?

Thanks

Hi, I have a 2004 mazda 3 with 24000 miles and I started having similar problems two weeks ago, except my clutch pedal was alright. After driving a little more I was completely out of clutch and now it seems I need to replace it.

Because I brought my mazda to South America and there is no manual shift mazda 3 on sale here I am willing to try to change the clutch myself. If any one knows where I can find a manual to help myself with, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
