Almost all intakes are a waste of money . . .
However,
My car was a rebuilt salvage that had run off the road and had some front end damage and the factory intake was cracked in way too many places. The after-market intake was less expensive and a lot less of a hassle to put back in.
I have taken the time to rebuild the entire suspension as well.
But yes, the wires cracked after about 6 months of the install, however I have 115,000 miles on the car.
