Default looking at getting a mazda 3sport, what should i be aware of?

Hello,

Im looking getting the new 2012 mazda 3 sport gs. Are there any common problems or issues that i should be aware of?

common issuse with current mazdas in general is the power steering (still), motor mounts and for those not familier with mazdas the rear camber is set a little "extreme" and the oem tires are pretty much used up in a short amount of time. Other than that you get lucky if you dont have the random problems mazdas have like the a/c going up, rear main seal failure.

oh wow, thanks for the information, guess ill be getting the 7 year 160000km extended warranty with the car.

Rear tire cupping is not covered under the warranty, as Mazda claims the alignment is within tolerances and the dealer would not pay to replace the rear camber arms - to the tune of $ 450 (after market parts and dealer labor)
