I just bought a 2011 Mazda3. Two key fobs came with it. One works perfectly. The other will lock and unlock the doors and work the trunk. It will turn in the ignition but will not start the car. I checked the battery with a voltmeter and it shows 3v.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like either the immobiliser chip in the key is dead or requires re-programming
