Default Sticking valves

My Mazda 3 although now 6 years old has only done 37500 miles and has always been serviced. last week it stoped dead outside our house, Local garage fitted new battery and cleared all codes car was running fine. Yesterday it stopped dead again. Local garage diagnosed it appears to be sticky valves, they got the car started Took it for a run and all is well, Took it back to the garage left it for three hours, and it refused to start.
Has anyone out there had this problem or heard of this problem with a car that got such a low mileage.
I live on the island of Bute would greatly appreciate any help and advice.

Get another shop to look at your Mazda.

If what you posted is accurate, they don't really do very good service work!
